Healthy Snack List For the Fall #2

By now, we are well into the Fall but not quite into the thick of it. We still have the rest of October, during the middle of which everyone will start to notice the more obvious signs of the season: more reddening leaves making their mark on the ground, along with colder weather and earlier nights.

Of course, if you’re like a good chunk of our readership and live in Texas, then the ‘colder’ weather might be as different from the summer as you would hope; for Texans who want to experience weather that would be undeniably chilly, they have to wait until December.

We hope that during these first parts of Fall, you read our previous article in this series and tried at least one of the snacks we listed out. For the middle part of Fall, which is October, we hope you also try out the snacks listed below.

1. Pumpkin Bread

In our last article, we listed pumpkin hummus, and we will again showcase a pumpkin-infused snack.

The health benefits of pumpkins are numerous, such as containing antioxidants, fiber, potassium, and vitamins A, B, C, and E.

When you mix together something that has as many nutritional benefits as pumpkins together with bread, which contains protein and fiber, you get the perfect fall snack that can be enjoyed on its own or with dips!

2. Cinnamon Apple Chips

What could be better than baked potato chips? Baked apple slices coated with cinnamon! Apples on their own offer vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants, but they can be transformed into a tastier seasonal treat by slicing them up and baking them in an over with cinnamon.

Cinnamon isn’t just a flavorful spice, but it has properties that can help manage blood sugar.

With this snack, you’re getting unbeatable flavor with no guilt!

3. Unsalted Peanut and Raisin Mix

You could consider this as one of the easiest snack mixes that you could make. The healthy properties of peanuts include protein, fiber, magnesium, and vitamin E. Raisin’s health properties include calcium, iron, and antioxidants.

A handful of an unsalted peanut and raisin mix would give you a sweet and savory time that’s so easy to make that you’ll probably try it again as soon as you can.

Conclusion

November is just a month away, and that’s when we will be in deep Fall. We can’t wait to share with you all the other snacks that are out there!
