We’ve spent a lot of our time researching other kinds of health food stores since we published our last article on the topic. Creating a list of only three of them is a more difficult task than you might imagine because of the tremendous amount of options available.
People adore healthy food, and it sometimes feels like there’s more supply than demand for it.
We’d be disappointed in ourselves if this article didn’t encourage you to try the listed stores, but we understand if what we choose isn’t that interesting.
However, we also believe that you’re going to find all of our chances even slightly appealing. We will start with…
This health-food-focused website has a tremendous selection of options. This West Des Moines, Iowa-based company not only offers healthy food but supplements and even fitness equipment!
With WholeLotta, you can buy grain-free taco shells, organic peanut butter, keto & paleo muffin mix, organic apple-cinnamon oatmeal, and way, way more.
Akin’s might not have the same depth of product as WholeLotta Good, but we think that what they do have is excellent, and they have quite an approachable website.
According to their ‘About Us’ page, this company has been in business for over 80 years and claim that they always innovate when it comes to providing customers products such as organic foods, foods that don’t trigger allergies, and more.
A look at their products reveals their statement to be true. A tiny sample of their foods includes organic oat bran, alkaline spring water, organic broccoli florets, meatless meatballs, and even dairy, gluten, and egg-free waffles!
3. Natural Zing
Natural Zing’s founders have made it their mission since 2003 to attain high-quality suppliers to give out the best nutrient-dense foods.
This online store is different than the last two we’ve featured in that it has a much stronger focus on ‘superfoods’ and supplements as opposed to more traditional healthy groceries. However, we think that there are plenty of appealing products that you could buy.
Examples of Natural Zing’s superfood products include acai powder, cacao powder, chia seeds, and goji berries. Examples of its plant-based foods are brown rice protein, Turkish apricots, almond butter, and even keto coconut wraps.
Another thing that makes this company appealing is that its website has recipes!
We think that you’ll enjoy reading about our latest selections. If you’re interested in telling us if we should feature another health food store that you like, then contact us through email. We’d love to hear from you.
